Traces of Tracking –This series investigates the duality of simultaneously being protected and having one’s privacy invaded, of simultaneously feeling protected and yet feeling the underlying menace of threat, of living with the constant feeling that either something has just happened or something is about to happen.A glimpse of a conflict in the streets in the days after the attacks in Paris November 13 from an observing distance – too far away to intervene or help. A series of images captured at places with high surveillance and increasingly minimal traces of human presence. Moments and places not consciously searched for. Rather, a series of incidents that made their presence known. The project was nominated to Mack Books First Book Award in 2016 and exhibited at Cyan Gallery in Oslo, Norway June 2017.
